Our Story
Matt Valentine is the baking force behind Sweet Valentine Bakery. He baked and sold his first peach cobbler at ten years old and has not stopped baking ever since. He has twenty years of food industry experience, from James Beard-winning kitchens to being an Executive Chef. Husband and wife team Matt and Kat Valentine are both Los Angeles natives who inherited a sweet tooth, and even a few recipes, from their grandmothers.
Sweet Valentine Bakery loves to share sweet treats with great people. Beginning in March of 2020 with a birthday Bundt Cake for a friend, Sweet Valentine Bakery has quickly grown into a sought-after indulgence in the South Bay and South Los Angeles areas. The classically Southern-inspired menu is known for its great flavor and texture that combine for an exceptional experience. Their signature Maple Brown Butter Cake, silky Banana Pudding, delicious Peach Cobbler, and addicting Pecan Pie are all sure to delight!
